In 2016, CBMA produced "Pipeline To Success", a documentary short that follows Toussaint Lamont Stone, an 18-year-old public school student from Oakland, California, as he navigates his final year of high school and prepares to transition to community college. Through the lens of Toussaint's journey, the short highlights the social and systemic barriers facing Black students, specifically Black young men and boys, and the importance of culturally-responsive educators and education policies. Watch the video to learn about Toussaint’s story and the unique challenges many Black male students find themselves having to confront in secondary education.
