William McIntyre II


Regional Manager, Community Preservation and Development Corporation

William Benjamin McIntyre II currently serves as a Regional Manager at Community Preservation and Development Corporation, non-profit organization that is a leader in affordable housing industry. William is aiding in the development of vibrant communities with innovation while establishing a variety of partnerships.  

Mr. McIntyre began his professional career in Baltimore City Public School System as a middle school teacher. While serving in this capacity he was recognized for his outstanding contribution to the local educational community. He continued teaching in Prince George's County Public Schools as a high school educator before he was appointed as a technology coordinator. At this time, he created the infrastructure for the school's technology department and transformed the educational environment at that site. He conducted local and statewide workshops. This gave raise to an elected position, which he traveled to South Africa with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) by means of the Washington District of Columbia teacher initiative. Following this journey, he began working for the W. E. B. Du Bois Institute of African American Studies at Harvard University. 

William earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in biology and is pursing his Masters of Science in Instructional Technology at Johns Hopkins University. 

Mr. McIntyre is a member of National Technical Association (NTA), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Maryland Instructional Computers Coordinators Association (MICCA), National Education Association (NEA), National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), and the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Lodge of the Maryland Jurisdiction.
