Rashad Staton, is a 26-year-old community organizer, social justice advocate, and self-proclaimed “catalyst of change.” Rashad Staton graduated top of his class as a student athlete from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. Rashad decided to attend Morgan State University, earning a B.A. in Political Science, while gaining a position as United States Congressional Intern. While pursuing his undergraduate studies at Morgan State, Rashad was elected by his peers to serve concurrently as President of National Pan Hellenic Council- MSU Section, and Vice President of Student Government Association. After graduating Morgan State, Rashad continued to service his community and uplifting the youth by becoming an educator for various educational nonprofit organizations in Baltimore City Public Systems. Still having a passion for politics and civic engagement, Rashad began to gain experience and insight of local politics by becoming Vice Chair of the Baltimore City Youth Commissioner. Rashad Staton is also an Entrepreneur, having co-founded two businesses, one being BeMore Consulting, LLC, (The BeMore Group), that focuses on youth development, community engagement, and financial literacy. Within just a year, BeMore Consulting LLC., has fed, educated, and provided resources for over 1,200 families across Baltimore. With his fellow Dunbar graduates, he co-founded It Takes One Inc., a scholarship award and mentoring program for first generational graduating seniors in Baltimore City Public Schools entering college. Rashad Staton has been proclaimed as the "Voice of the Future", an innovative and passionate leader, a "catalyst of change" and one who charges everyone to “Be-More”. Rashad lives by the mantra that “although he may not be the one who will change the world, he will certainly be the one who spark the minds of change and will create opportunities for others to do so."
