Program Operations and Information Management Associate, The Kresge Foundation

Mark Greer II is a Program Operations and Information Management Associate at The Kresge Foundation. There, he provides operational support and data analytics to the Arts & Culture Program and the Social Investments Practice to increase the Foundation's efficiency and inform strategic decision making. He also is a member of the Boys and Men of Color workgroup and the Kresge Operationalizing Racial Equity team.  

Mark started his career in community organizing at Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength (MOSES) and continued this work as Deputy Canvass Director for the Michigan for All campaign in 2014. Prior to Kresge, he served as a Corporate Responsibility Intern at JP Morgan Chase where he was involved with strategic planning and grants management for the company’s 5 year, $100 million commitment to the city of Detroit.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Mark earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Afro-American and African Studies from The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Recently, he completed his MBA from the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. Mark is dedicating his life to advancing a social justice and racial equity lens in philanthropy to dismantle systematic oppression and improve quality of life for all.
