Meet CBMA and Values Partnerships "Across The Fence"

The Campaign for Black Male Achievement is a proud partner with Paramount Pictures and Values Partnerships on "Across The Fence," an exciting initiative to promote the highly-anticipated film "FENCES" starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis. This awareness campaign is extremely relevant to CBMA's perception change work by helping to shift the narrative around Black fatherhood and family life.

On November 30th, we took part in #AcrossTheFenceDay, during which many people took to social media to share photos, videos and other self-created content throughout the day as messages to their loved ones. Though that particular day has passed, here are some ways that you can still participate:

  • Share a photo on Instagram or Facebook of family member, friend or mentor, add a dedication to them, and the hashtag, #AcrossTheFence
  • Write a song or poem, or produce a work of art, and share it with a loved on online using #AcrossTheFence
