Attend CBMA's "Promise Of Place" Webinars for 2017!

by Janet Dickerson

Building off of the momentum of CBMA’s first three webinars last fall, which focused on the cities of Louisville, Baltimore and Milwaukee, we now invite you to join us for the new 2017 installments of our Promise of Place Webinar Series!

Based on CBMA's 2015 Promise of Place Report, this webinar series aims to help Black Male Achievement leaders use the report as a tool to better understand how their city scores in its commitment to improving life outcomes for Black men and boys; to gather information on best practices; and to view resources that will be helpful in strengthening their city's score. Each webinar will spotlight efforts towards advancing Black Male Achievement in a different city, and will feature presentations from local leaders, as well as provide a forum for live questions and feedback.

Our last webinar took place on April 25th and focused on High School Excellence, with a spotlight on best practices from Washington DC and Chicago.Listen to it here.

If you missed the last webinar from April 11th highlighting the City of Oakland, CAcheck it out here. You can also find recordings from our previous batch of 2016 webinars below:

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jameelah Morris at jmorris@rootcause.org

Hope you can join us!
