Attend CBMA's "Promise Of Place" Webinars for 2017!

by Janet Dickerson

Building off of the momentum of CBMA’s first three webinars last fall, which focused on the cities of Louisville, Baltimore and Milwaukee, we now invite you to join us for the new 2017 installments of our Promise of Place Webinar Series!

Based on CBMA's 2015 Promise of Place Report, this webinar series aims to help Black Male Achievement leaders use the report as a tool to better understand how their city scores in its commitment to improving life outcomes for Black men and boys; to gather information on best practices; and to view resources that will be helpful in strengthening their city's score. Tuesday's webinar will spotlight efforts towards advancing Black Male Achievement in Oakland, featuring presentations from local leaders and providing a forum for live questions and feedback.

Our next webinar takes place on April 25th from 4-5pm (EST), and will focus on High School Excellence! This webinar will give a general overview of CBMA's High School Excellence Framework while highlighting best practices from Washington DC and Chicago.

If you missed the first 2017 webinar from April 11th highlighting the City of Oakland, CA in its Black Male Achievement work, check it out here. You can also find recordings from our previous batch of webinars held in 2016:
